Message | the reason i wish to withdraw from these treaties are simple : we are the only nation that has ratified them and that makes them kind of useless imho |
Date | 23:19:40, December 23, 2005 CET | From | Society of Sadists | To | Debating the withdrawing (bill II) |
Message | Hmm ... better than the long one with animal rights in it. But I would oppose withdrawing from the representation of the people. I was about to say the nations of liberty alliance too but I see we're the only remaining member! |
Date | 01:05:33, December 24, 2005 CET | From | Nice Shiny Party | To | Debating the withdrawing (bill II) |
Message | As Common Sense says - we are the only nation who is part of these treaties so they seem obsolete. I am in favour of eliminating the excess red tape caused by useless paperwork and after checking through all our treaties these are the only ones that have us as a sole signatory. |

Message | Actually, changed my mind, I do actually agree with these treaties, so we should keep them even if we are the only signatory as it gives us a moral template to build upon. |
Date | 02:22:21, January 11, 2006 CET | From | Alliance 44 | To | Debating the withdrawing (bill II) |
Message | Alliance 44, and the Foreign Office run by us, also support the proposed withdrawals, primarily because they are only unilaterally binding. However, we have only minor concerns about their contents. |

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
Random quote: “Their cheap talk of the 'greater good' is a thinly concealed excuse for subordinating the people to the institutionalized violence that is the state.” - Margaret Woodhall, former Dranian politician |
