Bill: Coalition for Unity

Details

Submitted by[?]: Koalisjon for frigjøring

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3582

Description[?]:

Pritchard government lost its legitimacy, they lost a vote of no-confidence and still insist on ruling Dranland, we simply can't allow that. We propose this caretaker government until the negotiations over.

MessageMr. Speaker,

My administration is running a perfectly legitimate and competent caretaker minority government at the moment, but if others think they can do a better job, then they are of course entitled to put themselves forward. I must say this is a somewhat odd coalition, however. Many of us will remember it was no so long ago when the leader of the KFF said:

"Left wing loonies like PPD shall not be on my cabinet too"

Perhaps the Honourable Lady could explain to Parliament why she is now attempting to put those she calls "left wing loonies" in charge of the ministries of Defence, Justice and Health & Social Services?

Taoiseach Aled Pritchard MP

MessageMr Speaker,

In ordinary times we would have picked to be part of a very different alliance but given the Taoiseach's refusal to recognise the needs of farmers and those of the Parliament (which resoundingly impeached his Government), we reluctantly enter this in the interest of national stability as three moderate parties will certainly reign in any far left excess.
