| Message | Our Friends in Kalopia, While such sediments are misguided and wrong they have become popular enough to become fact so let us refute them. For the record, Jakania and Cobura are free and independent states capable of making their own decisions without interference from Belgae. Their people chose the House of Wiencek to be their monarch. Indeed while we have already settled the Cobura matter in other forums we have yet to discuss Jakania. For many decades Jakania alternated between foreign dominated monarchy and military dictatorships. In the late 3560's as the Deltarian Empire in all its evil fell Jakania was left with a foreign installed monarch and economic, political and social turmoil. In our drive for peaceful relations and stability and in accordance with the prior Treaty of Friendship we had with them we secured the vital Ingomu-Borenu Fuel Pipeline. When the situation had deteriorated further we began assembling a bigger peacekeeping mission and finally when the terrorism happened and the country appeared on the brink of civil war we had no choice but to act. We moved in and began fighting terrorism and trying to restore order and stability. We were aided by Coburan detachments and towards the end of the campaign we had Solenitan assistance as well in fighting the international terror element. Indeed Zardugal and her allies participated in air strikes and special forces raids in Wantuni and by all measures we had been highly successful. Majatran terrorism is down to record lows, a natural and free Kalopia arose from the weakened Wantuni state which harshly oppressed its people and Jakania is better by all measures since our intervention. And there has not been a Zardic soldier on Jakanian soil there to police or do acts and things that the civil authorities there do since 3582! We maintain roughly 40,000 troops in Jakania in a largely administrative and support capacity with only 5000 security personal protecting the pipeline. So before we continue the rants against Zardic imperialism let us pause and look objectively into the past.
