Details

Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: August 3590
Description[?]:
The General Synod of the VKS, through it's President His Majesty the King, proposes the following changes to the structure of the VKS. Structure: Archdiocese of Boerestaat (both as diocese and metropolitan) Diocese of Kaap Diocese of Tasselstaat Diocese of Ijkpieland Diocese of Sint Pietereiland Diocese of the United Church of Saridan Abroad Bishop to HM's Prisons Bishop to HM's Armed Forces Bishop to HM's Court and Government The General Synod also recommends the establishment of Assistant Bishops, Archdeacons, Deans, Canons and Provosts to allow for greater control over the daily life of the VKS. Each Diocese would have one assistant bishop (with the exception of the Archbishop, who would receive two, with one serving as Bishop in Boerestaat.) The Ordinariates would not receive any assistant bishops. Each diocese would then receive two archdeacons , to serve as liaison between clergy and bishop, whereas each ordinariate would only receive one. Each city in a diocese would then be headed by a dean, underneath whom would be normal clergy. The Provost would serve as head of the cathedral (that is one per diocese and ordinariate ), while 12 canons would be clergy assigned to each cathedral, usually serving either as an honorary post or due to official and bureaucratic functions. Therefore the total number of clergy (if this bill is passed): Total No. of Bishops: 16 Total No. of Archdeacons: 15 Total No. of Deans: 20 Total No. of Provosts: 9 Total No. of Canons: 108 |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
