WIP

This is a rough draft for the ongoing RP in Kafuristan. Will make a post on the forum about this.

- February 3569 - June 3580: Years of political and social instability due to economic downfall, increasing corruption and damaged national pride due to the lose of influence in Majatra to Zardugal (the fall of Jakania and Wantuni to Zardugal and pro-Zardic forces in Kalopia)

- June 3580: Senior officers of the Supreme Military Council, led by Field Marshal Abbas Fahd Hussain, depose Grand Emir Ameen III accusing him of incompetence and corruption. Ameen III is placed under house arrest. The SMC put Ameen's son, Najef, on the throne as a puppet of the generals.

- June 3580 - June 3588: Continued political and social instability. SMC cracks down hard on dissent. Attempts to protest peacefully have been met with deadly violence.

- June 3588: A group of junior officers, calling themselfes the Young Officers Movement, disillusioned by the lack of economic and social progress, overthrow the generals regime. The Young Officers Movement, led by Captain Hakeem Adel El-Mofty, Captain Nasib Muhammet Sultan and Lieutenant Suleyman Amal Boulos, put in place a provisional government headed by Colonel Baqi Ridha Ahmad .

- July 3588: The Provisional Government orders that members of the Royal Family, including Grand Emir Najef I and his father, the deposed Grand Emir Ameen III, and members of the Generals Regime, including Field Marshal Abbas Fahd Hussain, will be tried by a Special People's Tribunal for their crimes against the People of Kafuristan.

- August 3588: The Special People's Tribunal, during the socalled "First al-Kasraj Trials", finds members of the Royal Family and members of the Generals Regime guilty of crimes against the People of Kafuristan during a show trial and sentences them to death by firing squad.

- August 3588: Grand Emir Najef I and several other members of the Royal Family are executed by revolutionary forces. Surviving members of the Royal Family flee the country.

- August 3588: All members of the now disbanded Supreme Military Council and of the Generals Regime are executed by revolutionary forces several days after the execution of members of the Royal Family.

- August 3588 - September 3590: Purging of anti-Revolutionary elements within Kafuri society. Creation of reeducation camps.

- November 3590: Start of economic reforms. Nationalisation of major companies and industries.

- : Captain Nasib Muhammet Sultan and Lieutenant Suleyman Amal Boulos resign from Revolutionary Command Council due to "health issues". Their seats are taken up by Major Salih Adam Karimi and Captain Suhayl Osama Abdulrashid .

- Captain Hakeem Adel El-Mofty, leader of the Revolution, killed by roadside bomb. His death leads to a power vacuum in the the Revolutionary Command Council.

- Power struggle within the Revolutionary Command Council. Major Salih Adam Karimi manages to gain upper hand and eliminates opposition against him and takes sole power in the Revolutionary Command Council.
