Message | Issues such as this are best left directly in the hands of the state. |
Date | 11:47:58, December 25, 2005 CET | From | Inrala no Ikolowagitou (Green) | To | Debating the Adoption Act |
Message | Why do the RDP consistently malign Indrala's public servants? They are both efficient and enthusiastic. There is no reason at all to suppose a few do-gooders could improve on this, and in fact the results are likely to be a lot worse. We see no reason to entrust the fate of our children to unqualified volunteers, however well intentioned. |

Message | The RDP has always maintained that the lower productivity of the public sector has little to do with personnel issues, and a lot with systemic issues. RDP ministers have done what they can to surmount these, for example with the introduction of internal markets in health and education. But there are limits to what can be done inside the State; simply put, people cannot chase their dreams inside the public sector. We are surprised that the Green Party, which owes so much to Non-Governmental Organizations, will now malign them as "unqualified" "do-gooders." Perhaps this has little to do with ideology, and a lot with ensuring political contributions from certain public sector unions? |

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer. |
