Message | Mr. Speaker, The Democratic Party can not support a tax system that negatively impacts the middle class. I would hope that in the future, the United Party would introduce a tax proposal with more brackets. Introduce a more progressive tax system in order for the Democratic Party's vote in favor. Message | Mr Speaker - Our flat tax proposals do not disadvantage the middle class. The tax free allowance remains the same (up to 10,000 HLR) and everyone else will now pay 25% instead of either 50% or 90%! It's a tax reduction across the board thanks to our savings on public spending. We suggest that the Democratic Party looks again at its figures. Helen Rogers MP, Finance Minister |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The Democratic Party of Hutori believes in a progressive tax system. The Democratic Party believes that the most wealthy of our society should be paying a bit more to sustain this great nation of ours. Create more tax brackets in future proposals and the Democratic Party will reconsider our opposition. Jordan Eldridge, MP, Democratic Party Leader |
