Message | Mr. Speaker, What reason can the DSF give for gutting the defense budget? Furthermore, are the DSF prepared to explain to Rutanian's that their taxes will have to go up in order to fund this unnecessary increase in spending? Michael Kirsch UPR Congressional Leader |

Message | Speaker, There is no reasonable explanation for why the defense budget should be more than double the budget allocated to Health and Social services. Are the Urban Party prepared to explain why Rutanians should spend their tax money on such a bloated defense force when better diplomacy and forward thinking will serve us much better as a nation? Perhaps if the Urban Party had served us better in the past we wouldn't be encumbered with people who seem to need to overcompensate with big guns. With only a slight alteration in total spending, the modest restructuring of the taxation system we propose along with this is more than fair. Rutanians will embrace this plan gladly. Emily Dawkins-Stratton, DSF Leader. |
