Bill: Bill bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Grand Nationalist Fraction

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 3638

Description[?]:

We would like to stress that a bill, that isn't urgent (exempt war, state of emergency, disaster, etc...) should be handed in and left for at least 6 (in-game) months in debate, before it is passed to vote. That way every party has a chance to react to the proposed bill.

Herman Devos
P&A chairman

MessageOOC: I completely understand it from the roleplay-ish aspect but I somehow need to fill up my party statistics before the next election.

This is an interesting system and something the Presidium will consider. The uproar is definitely a huge problem, allthough the NLA sides with the NRG on this point and agrees, that we need to accept the will of the people. Corruption is something which is NOT acceptable!

MessageMr. Speaker,

I do not think that this makes sense. The P&A members keep proposing regulations for State of Emergencies. It defeats the entire purpose of a State of Emergency.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I apologise on behalf of Tony Jekkyl. He clearly didn't read the bill properly.
The NRG supports this bill, as it is something we had done during the last elections.

MessageOOC: to NLA: the next elections are in 24 months, you have plenty of time. If you put something to vote immediatly, you cannot change any of the articles anymore. Which is sometimes necessary to get support from another party. No hard feelings, just wanted to point that out...
