Bill: Liberal, Unionist, and Communist Government Coalition 3675

Details

Submitted by[?]: Grand Liberal Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3676

Description[?]:

OOC I'm sorry, I am so dim, I out the wrong party into the government.

IC

Senators, today the Liberals wish to make a big and open offer to the Unionists and Communists. The recent election has been one of the most competitive and closely fought for years. The arguments have been heard by the nation. The people have indeed spoke. Both the politics of extreme nationalism and corporate greed have been decisively rejected. However, there is no scope for celebration. We need to be a more listening and inclusive government, we need to hear what the electoral have told us.

So I urge the Unionists and Communists to join us in office, not a coalition of convenience, but as a radical and reforming government for Solentia. A stable, secure government committed to serving its full term in office.

President Greenmir-Jakeson

MessageSo in order to cravenly cling to power, the liberal elite establishment are proposing to sell out our country to the Reds. At this dire hour in our national history, when the menace of Kafuristan looms large over us, they plan to hand over the running of our armed forces to a COMMUNIST!!!

Senators, this treachery will never be forgotten. Shame on the Unionists and the Liberals!

MessageSenators, we know enough about communism to understand communists should have absolutely no role whatsoever in the Solentian government. This is a betrayal of the values of the Republic founded by Father Bailen.
