Message | Mr. Speaker, I'd like to formally open debate on ratification of this treaty. While generally speaking the Conservative Party is opposed to international treaties that violate our national sovereignty, we believe that this treaty is one that we must ratify. Slavery is an unacceptable violation of human rights, and we must show the international community that we will not tolerate such oppression by joining these eight nations and ratifying this treaty banning such intolerable practices. I Yield. |
Date | 20:19:12, June 10, 2014 CET | From | Workers Revolutionary League - Gaduridos | To | Debating the Ratification of the Majatra Anti-Slavery Accord |
Message | Mr. Edwin Solo, new chairman of the Party and Mr. John Battler, head of State of Gaduridos both agree with this treaty. But it was supposed to apply in the continent of Majatra. We must not forget we are in the continent of Seleya. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, While we recognize that the treaty's original purpose appears to have been focused on Majatra, it has clearly become a worldwide treaty seeing that it has been ratified by our neighbors República Democrática de Tukarali and the Workers' Republic of Baltusia. I Yield. |
Date | 05:18:50, June 11, 2014 CET | From | Progressive Workers of Gaduridos | To | Debating the Ratification of the Majatra Anti-Slavery Accord |
Message | Mr. Speaker The PWG strongly condemns slavery in any form, and is therefore not disagreeing to any treaty that bans slavery. The PWG is however wondering if this treaty, clearly drawn up by and for Matrajan nations, is a suitable treaty for Gaduridos to sign. |
Date | 21:42:17, June 11, 2014 CET | From | Progressive Conservative Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Majatra Anti-Slavery Accord |
Message | Mr. Speaker, We still believe that our nation should ratify this treaty. I'd like to reiterate that our neighbors right here in Seleya (República Democrática de Tukarali and the Workers' Republic of Baltusia) have already ratified this treaty disproving the fact that it remains exclusive to Matrajan nations. We call upon the other parties to support this ratification as a statement to the international community about our intolerance of slavery and nations who permit such intolerable oppression. We would like to move this bill to voting procedure as the six month period has passed. I hope that the other parties will join with us in a show of unity and vote in favor of ratification of this treaty. I Yield. |
