Message | Hang on a mo, the MEP support abortion, you are fine with murdering our own people. |

Message | The MEP voted against the LIA's bill to legalize abortion the last time so it seems that they buy into the whole "Santicty of Life" bullshit that the Neo-Con right is so fond of spouting off about while sending our boys to Iraq to die for their Oil Profits. |

Message | OOC: One, keep comments like that out-of-character. Two, there are plenty of people who support an unborn child's right to life without supporting military aggression, the war on Iraq, the Bush Administration or the Religious Right. There are many libertarians, for example, who are opposed to abortion, not to mention Catholics, many of whom are Democrats. |

Message | 1 yes, 2 no. We are OK with the LOCAL goverments encouraging some form of population control, but not national goverment. |

Message | ooc: 2,000 brave young men died in Iraq, how many lives have been aborted since Marche 2003? It certainly isn't less than 2000, you silly faggot. |

Message | OOC: A fetus is not a living thing, it's a piece of pulp that is no where NEAR a living thing! |

Message | OOC: Any unborn child past the embryonic stage but before birth is considered a fetus. It has a heartbeat. It shows brain activity. It can feel pain and suffer -- in fact its nerves are more sensitive so it feels even more pain than a more developed individual. What exactly are your criteria for a "living thing"? If you've got Real Player I suggest watching this: http://old.abortionno.org/realaudio/hrdtruthdsl.rm It's kinda artsy but it gets the point across. |

Message | OOC: Well, LIA, you were on about 4 hours after your last reply on this debate. Are you planning on responding at all? You really should watch the movie; it's quite entertaining. |
