Bill: Act for the Election of the President of the Enlightened Peoples Republic

Details

Submitted by[?]: 반동주의자당 (Bandongjuuijadang)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 3687

Description[?]:

Having secured the victory of the revolution and overcome the crisis, the victorious Republic declares the defunct monarchy officially at an end. The vacant throne of Dankuk will not be succeeded too by the Crown Prince, though he may stand as a private citizen if he so wishes. In this new era of freedom, we announce the first free Presidential elections of the Enlightened People's Republic of Dankuk. All parties may take part, though individuals involved in criminal cases will be barred. Confident in the peoples desire for victory and socialism, we announce the candidacy of Awstin Kim for this the highest executive office of our new Republic.

Random fact: Voters have an extra appreciation for bills that actually get passed, so if you want to maximally take profit from your votes, make sure you compromise with others.

Random quote: "To the youth of America, I say, beware of being trivialized by the commercial culture that tempts you daily. I hear you saying often that you're not turned on by politics. The lessons of history are clear and portentous. If you do not turn onto politics, politics will turn on you." - Ralph Nader
