Message | No, upon passage of this act children would _no longer_ be allowed to work in family stores. Nor newspaper routes, lemonade stands, etc.; nor apprenticeships. All "forbidden", as the article states. Right now, by contrast, they're allowed carefully limited participation in these appropriate forms of work, and the (vast) regulations prevent any abuses. |
