Message | Sr. President, Setting up a network of government-run power stations would be very expensive, and frankly, we have other spending priorities at the moment. Also, we are not convinced this would be in the interests of consumers. Danki. Victorino Santillion Delegate Speaker Partido Nacional |

Message | If you want to nationalize your company you do it with your money. All this will do is create crony capitalism which is lots of big corporations and lots of monopolies. |

Message | who told you there will be monopoly, we plant to have at least 15 independants public power station, so there will be competition between the private station and the public, between the private themselves and between the publc themselves, If Imy compagny is to be nationalise, there is a risk it could be given to someone with innacceptable value and the rice would go up, I am serving low-income people, and there is some of them that cannot pay entirely, personnally, I let them be, but others would cut their electricity. |

Message | Sr. Presidente, We cannot find ourselves in the arguments of the DLCP, however we shall subsequently vote for this measure, in order to be able to provide subsidised electricity to poorer families, or in remote regions of our vast nation.
