Voting deadline: April 3707

Description[?]:

What I have been contemplating is debate times before we go to a vote on a legislation for say 3-6 months to see of any common ground or understanding could be met between the parties who wish to see the bill altered a bit.

MessageI agree :)
Doing this would help to get any potential problematic points worked out before the actual vote, thereby avoiding the hassle of needing to propose a second bill to do so after the first inevitably fails.

What I personally like to do is introduce a bill in January, then usually send it to vote in April after three months for this; the vote finishing in December. But that's just my own personal habit.

MessageOk yes that would be a good idea as well though it could get confusing for some people say if they join but if we make it a law in the General Assembly and something parties should follow it would help as well.

We could also just make it a suggestion if some parties are not I treated but it would help more bills get passed.

I will bring this to a vote shortly i just want to see if any other parties have opinions.

MessageI'll probably continue ramming omnibus local bills honestly, sometimes I might make one on its own and put it up for a debate but it would be too annoying to debate generalized localism as much as I pass such bills. Otherwise a wonderful idea! I tried putting things up for debate early on but most everybody ignored them until I put them up for vote.

MessageI'm sorry I will put the vote in a second bill because I want this to stay on the front nation page.
