Description[?]:
===================================================================================== Population Surveys are carried out by the Hutori Census Commission, they seek to provide the vital statistics and information regarding the Hutorian peoples. The new survey is as follows: ===================================================================================== ETHNICITY With now an open borders policy between signatories of the Macon Union we have seen yet another sharp influx of Telamonese and Davostanis. This acompanied by Hutorians emigrating to other Macon Union states has seen the percentage of Hutors drop. Hutors 70% (Lutheran; Luthori) Dutchmen 2% (Lutheran; Dutch) Jews 2% (Jewish; Hebrew) Mashacara 3% (Aboriginal/Lutheran; Mashacara) Telamonese 9% (Orthodox; Telamonese) Davostanis 12% (Catholic; Spanish/French) Selucian Lutherans 1% (Lutheran; Latin) Other 1% (Various; Various) ===================================================================================== RELIGION With the abolition of the state religion we have seen a slight decrease in the numbers of Lutheran-Protestants and religious followers in general. We now place the balance at a 57/43 in favour of anti-religion. We have also seen the sect of Swedenborgianism claim back its 1% which it has lacked for many decades - we put this down to pro-religious legislation for its re-emergence. 18% Lutheran Protestant 11% Catholic 9% Non-Lutheran Protestant 3% Jewish 1% Swedenborgianism 1% Other 42% Atheist 15% agnostic or non-aligned. ===================================================================================== LANGUAGE A new category, this chart determines how many people speak a given language at a native or near-native level. Obviously, since people are capable of speaking more than one language, the percentages won't add up at all. Due to the influx of Davostanis and Telamonese their native tongues have increased in proportion within the Hutorian state. The percentage of those speaking Hutori's own Luthori has dropped by 2% while new immigrants integrate by learning the language. The teaching of Mashacara languages in schools ensures the native tongue of Hutoris origninal people lives on despite their small numbers. 93% Luthori 9% Mashacara languages 11% Telamonese 5% Dutch 15% Spanish or French 3% Suddonese 2% Selucian Latin 1% Hulstrian or Dundorfian 3% Majaratan Languages (Hebrew, Arabic, etc) 6% Another language ===================================================================================== The report is complete. This is now open to be discussed in the House of Parliament. |

Message | Mr Speaker, we would like to know how these statistics are derived before we support. |

Message | Rt Hon Harold Clarke MP, Leader of the Opposition, Mr Speaker, the Bill quite clearly states for the record that these statistics are compiled by the independant Hutori Census Commission. OOC : Truth is that this is simply an OOC RP thing to define Hutorian culture. It has no in game impact. |
