Message | I wonder about the nessecity for exempting people associated with religon from paying taxes in order to recognise it, charity of course should remain untaxed |
Date | 05:10:00, January 02, 2006 CET | From | Majataran Capitalist Resurrection Party | To | Debating the Religion Act |
Message | I have a question. In the case that the populatity of Islam falls them what are we to do? Change the State Religion? Then the state seems to populist and in the eyes of the world populist states are weak. And This could lead to futher exculsion of our non-Muslim populice. |
Date | 05:35:19, January 02, 2006 CET | From | Ishtirakiya Party | To | Debating the Religion Act |
Message | This bill claims to want to want to help muslims, but all it dose is alow all religions to become freely advertised, opress non-muslim minorities, allow religions to make profits, and allow anyone within our borders claiming to be a "missionary". Though the Ishtriakiya Party is based on muslim teachings, we do not want to allow Islam to be corrupted by laws like these. |

Message | In a more specific matter, religions should be taxed, as to keep greedy people from masquarading in a holy outfit in order to make money, religions should not be allowed to advertise, as it draws away from the real meaning of faith, and not everyone claiming to be a "missionary" should be let in Al'badara. Islam, however, DOSE need to become the state religion. |

Date | 17:16:08, January 02, 2006 CET | From | Union of Progressive Ulama | To | Debating the Religion Act |
Message | The UPU does not expect this act to pass. It is wholly in keeping with our interpretation of religioous prinples as a democratic Islamic party, however, so we are going to make the attempt. Since there is some support for the state religion article, it has been split into a separate bill. |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
