| Madam Speaker, The Radical Alliance and the Democratic Socialist Party have been negotiating for quite some time now and have agreed upon a new budget for the Federal Republic of Hutori. It will revolutionize the state budget by investing a lot more in the core areas of this country while cutting in sectors like defence. The new budget will change our deficit from the current 2.11% to 0.68%. This will drastically help our international economical reputation and make Hutori a reliant nation once more. And I don't want to be apart of such a negative campaign against the UNP when there are only police reports regarding supporters of the UNP and not any prominent party members. As an individual you have a set amount of time to pay it back (your life) if the bank doesn't think you can do that they won't lend you the money. A nation on the other hand doesn't have those time constraints so a financial institution will continue to lend a nation money so long as they believe the nation can make the payments. |

To maintain our current level of expenditures and our current level of prestige in the international community (I'm talking about the U.S.) a deficit needs to be maintained. While you could do that in an RP it would basically amount here we sent you stuff. With a military RP there is potential for gain and loss as well the potential to last a lot longer. |

However the problem lies that many believe our neighbour, Davostan to be on the verge of a communist revolution, therefore does the government think it is wise to cut the defence budget and unnecessarily pose such a threat to our national security.
