Bill: Military Strengthening Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Libermuns Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3759

Description[?]:

While working as Foreign Affairs Minister, I noticed that Lodamun is not being taken seriously in the international community. While the Image Cleansing Bill should be furthered by the current Head of Foreign Affairs, I would like to head a movement to strengthen Lodamun's new full-time military. I will be working with the SLP's expert on Defence, Mr. Arwen O'Barra to further this cause. The following Articles are possible militaristic avenues for which Lodamun can expand.

SLP Representative for Foreign Affairs

MessageMr. Speaker,

RPF can support only Article 4. In case of remove Articles 1 and 3, we can also support Article 2.

But our party will NOT support full National Service and nationalization of all defence industries.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We do not want persons of specific religions being allowed in the military. Before you know it, we have some Hosian coup or Hosian mutiny or something, then we just have more of them running around with guns.

We also believe that civilian national service should be kept as an option, and not only military service.

We hope Article 2 will address the discrimination against Hosians in the military.
