MessageAlso, legalizing a problem doesn't make it go away.

The drug cartels wont disappear just because what they do is not illegal anymore.

MessageRPS wouldn't oppose legalizing marijuana. But this bill would legalize heroin, cocaine and other drugs that are only harmful to people.

MessageSolentia spends a lot of money trying to fight a war where we can’t win. What happens is that cartels only expand and create more violence and sell more drugs to Solentians, and what does the government do? We put more people in jail because in Solentia even consuming drugs is ilegal and we spend more money trying to fight what is unstoppable, if we continue the drug war we will continue to feed this cycle. If we legalize drugs not only we will taking much of the cartels power but we will also have reliable companies selling drugs. Not only that but people that are addicted can get better treatment instead of going to prison. In addition to that the jobs that these companies will create will be good to economics and drug users won’t have to buy drugs from a person that at the same time is armed and dangerous. Also, we will be saving tax payers money because we won’t be investing in continuing a war that is already lost.

MessageI agree on one imporntant point here, the dealers are the criminals and the addicts are victims who need help, not punnishment. However, what makes you think that the cartels will just role over on command and stop their very bussiness? If "normal" companys start selling drugs aswell, they will get threatened and attacked by the cartels.
