MessageMr Speaker,
We can agree to Article 1 and Article 4 can be supported by us in a compromise bill but we cannot support the other pieces of legislation presented.
We oppose Article 2 because not all workers are part of a labour union and it would be unenforceable in such situations. We oppose Article 3 because it should not be the job of government to regulate private hiring practices in such a manner and we oppose Article 5 as it should not be the governments job to offer alternative income.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
