Bill: 3800 Government Powers Restriction Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Free Democratic Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3800
Description[?]:
This is another attempt to give the power back to the people. Our party will explain why we support each of the proposals. If this passes, we expect a budget proposal that adjusts spending to these bills. It will cut foreign affairs spending in half and education spending by 5%. We also want the second lowest income tax bracket lowered by 1%, or some other income tax decrease that will keep us at a slight surplus. Article 1: When we give foreign aid when it isn't a disaster situation, what happens is that our poor and middle class are taxed more than they have to be, and the money we give is given to the greedy and power hungry government of the other country. Therefore, foreign aid should be done in disaster situations only. Along with this, we want the foreign affairs budget cut in half. Article 2: Local governments should decide education testing because different regions have different lifestyles. The more we localize schooling, the better off we are. If this bill doesn't pass, our party plans to make a large and education only bill to make education more effective and have more freedom. If this bill passes, we need a Article 3: We think that the government stealing property from the individual is bureaucratically corrupt and an abomination against liberty and freedom. |
