Voting deadline: March 3809

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

This reform to our budget is needed to take the tax burden off of the citizens of Rutania. The reforms made to each ministry are not extreme nor are they too little.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We cannot support a bill that lowers the funding of our military below 15b Rut. These cuts to spending our dangerous and will ultimately cause more problems to the economy if we pass a budget like this.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The reforms made to our budget will not effect the military as much as they UPR might think. We are currently not at war and I don't expect we will be at war for decades or even centuries to come.

The UNSC will support this, but we do share the Urban Party's concern over the military. It's always best to be prepared to protect yourself and others.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Unfortunately we cannot support this bill. We cannot support the lowering of support in science under 7.5 billion RUT. We are also opposed to the other lowerings, since education, social services and transport are major responsabilities of a government.

The change in Health and Social services is an unnecessary one.

MessageMadame Speaker,

It appears to us that a lot of the changes made by the Federalist Party are changes that need not be made. We believe that many changes are many based on ideology and not on necessity.

When the Federalists wish to propose something that will benefit Rutania's citizens then we'll back it. Otherwise, we'll continue to oppose ideological changes and will continue to propose workable improvements for the population and will support other Parties that propose Bills that actually aim to aid the people.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We would argue the same thing, that the Conservatives only vote based on ideology and not what the people want. We understand that they might think Federalism dooms society but many polls have shown that a majority of Rutanian's support Federalism and Progressivism and a Minority support Conservatism in a Social sense. The argument can go either way and every singe party in this Parliament votes based on the ideology and platform that originally got them elected, it would be foolish to think otherwise.

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.
