Description[?]:
Recreational drug use (including hard rugs such as crystal meth, cocaine, heroin, etc.) should be illegal in our nation. They pose a grave danger to public health through needle exchange HIV and addiction/overdose. While marijuana is a different case, these drugs destroy citizens and lessen national productivity. It is immoral that government stands by and allows this plague to infect our nation. |

Message | It is immoral for the government to dictate what consenting adults are allowed to do with, or put into, their bodies. The act of using any drug should not be considered a crime. Yes, there are risks to drug use, but instead of spending money to keep users in jail, we should be funding programs to educate drug users on how to use them in moderation, and the dangers of things like sharing needles. |

Message | This is different from the proposal that we brought forward earlier, during which there was confusion between us and TRP as to whether it banned marijuana or not. This is the correction. This bill bans the sale of recreational drugs (this time including all of the hard drugs mentioned above). As a compromise, we would also agree to support and explicit legalization of marijuana, just to avoid confusion and leave Telamon with the drug policy that the NRP has always intended: Legal weed, illegal hard drugs. |

Message | That is not what this bill would do. This bill concerns the sale of whatever recreational drugs are legal. If we pass this bill and then legalise cannabis it will mean that cannabis is technically legal but it is illegal to sell it. The way to implement the NRP's policy (with which the TRP agree) is to keep this law as it is and return the other drug law to a state where it legalises only cannabis. |

Message | Very well. We will vote for a change to the other law. |
