| 1) Article 1; the Foreign Operations Intelligence Act, establishes the Special Operations Service. The office is supervised by the National Director of Intelligence under the Ministry of Defence and tasked with foreign operations of all types against hostile, enemy countries. 2) This bill authorizes 'covert' actions by the Secret Operations Service to include; and be limited to, any and all opposition foreign nations defined as 'hostile' by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Covert is to be defined as: (i) any action taken by the SOS through which the identify of the sponsor is concealed or, (ii) an action undertaken as to permit plausible denial of involvement by the Republic of Solentia. Breadth and scope of tactics, objectives, rules of engagement and all related matters are the domain of the National Director of Intelligence. |
