Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, Recent governments have been far too lax about immigration, especially the immigration of unskilled, socially undesirable Draddwyr from Northern Dovani. Immigrants are taking our jobs and our houses, using up our services, costing us a fortune in welfare benefits, causing crime and disrupting the landscape of our national culture. I therefore propose: i. The Internal Affairs Ministry will set up an agency to vigorously seek and detain those who are here illegally, deporting them as quickly as possible. ii. The Border Control Agency will impose much tougher checks, to help prevent illegal immigration and other cross-border crime. iii. Dankuk will introduce a quota system based firstly on nationality, and then on skills. For the Draddwyr, the quota shall be set at zero. Gao immigrants will be given preference to non-Gao immigrants. Message | Mr Siaradwr, The Party of Hope opposes articles 1 and 3. We are supportive of a point system for immigration, but if anything, Draddwyrs should be give preferential treatment given the historical injustice. Morganna Fahramar Member for Loren Headmistress (PH) |

Message | Mr Speaker, shutting our country off from the rest of the world is not a suitable solution to our problems at all, and reflects no rational reasoning but solely the panic of the reactionaries. We need qualified immigration to allow our economy to recruit skilled workers and professional who can assist us in rebuilding our economy. The current restrictions are severe enough to prevent abuse by individuals who have no intent on working in the interest of our country and our economy. Assemblyman James Breckinridge DUP Floor Leader |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We agree with Mr. Breckinridge that our immigration policy should encourage immigrants with skills our economy needs, but we also believe our immigration policy should preserve Dankukin's way of life and cultural heritage. Does Mr. Breckinridge not think that is important too? Jeong Jin Ji Party Chairman |

Random fact: Real-life quotations may be used in Particracy, but the real-life speaker or author should always be referenced in an OOC (out-of-character) note alongside the quotation. |
Random quote: "The Revolution needs to progress. We as humans need to evolve into higher beings through better moral virtues. And we can achieve that if we clean ourselves from the immoral. Those who go against the Revolution, go against human progress and must be freed in the most humane way possible. That is why we introduced the guillotine." - Maximus Robertson, former Davostani revolutionary |
