Sponsor: Bernard Sanderson, DSP Orame Cosponsors: Nathalie Pelosi, DSP Shinatawa; Senator Frank Silverstein, DSP Orame; A bill to prevent violent extremism and to increase overall public safety. Be it enacted by the Senate of the Democratic Republic of Solentia that, § 1: AMENDMENTS TO THE USC: §§ 1: Title II (§16) USC shall be amended to show "The government does not allow arms to be exported." §§ 2: Title IV (§19) USC shall be expanded to include "The police patrol public property at all times." §§ 3: Title I (§16) USC shall be amended to show "Citizens are issued with identity cards on a voluntary basis." § 2: IDENTIFICATION CARDS: In general - the Ministry of Internal Affairs shall be responsible for distributing identification cards to every resident and citizen of Solentia over the age of 16. §§ 1: ID Cards shall be made from durable, counterfeit proof plastics and will be fitted with internal electronic security chips imbedded with the card bearers information. §§ 2: ID Cards shall have the photograph, name, address, bate of birth and blood type of the bearer clearly visible on the front of the card. The back of the card shall have a list of any serious medical conditions suffered by the bearer, and state whether the bearer is a felon or not. §§ 3: ID Cards must be replaced and fitted with up-to-date information ever two years. §§ 4: Counterfeiting or tampering with the security chip in the ID Cards shall be considered a Federal Offense, punishable with 30 years in Federal Prison. § 3: AIRPORT SECURITY IMPROVEMENTS: In general - all airports must follow the new Federal Security regulations outlined in this section. §§ 1: Entering an airport with a firearm, knife or any other type of deadly weapon will be prohibited. §§ 2: Passenger must show photo ID before purchasing tickets and before boarding a flight at any Solentian Airport. §§ 3: Federally hired Transit Police shall be stationed at the gate of every passenger terminal in the nation. They will be responsible for preforming the following security checks on all passengers: (i.) All passengers must pass through metal detectors. (ii.) All luggage and carry-ons must be scanned for explosives or radioactive materials. (iii.) Passengers who are felons must undergo special searches preformed by Transit Police. (iv.) Transit Police will be required to check passengers traveling from abroad for obvious signs of infection illness. |
