Bill: Impeachment of Queen Goldman
Details
Submitted by[?]: Free Democratic Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: April 3841
Description[?]:
We, the APS, declare that early election are held immediately. The executive branch is not royalty. There is no reason that the executive branch should do anything without congressional approval, and we will support impeachment any time the president does so. Goldman seems to think that she is better than everyone else, and that is strange coming from a socialist party. Her era of poor government has proved to be disastrous in Solentia. She has induced riots and supported big government. We want this to end. |

Message | "The President did not in anyway support the riots, in fact she denounced them. Mrs. Goldman supported the peaceful protests that had occurred hours before. Stop twisting the facts you nitwit and resign already so the real politicians can do their jobs." |

Message | When politicians do their "job", freedom is eliminated. We are for protests of all kinds, as we'd never place legislation in place to limit them. We don't think they are good for society, and I'm pretty sure that the government is causing these protests. DSP "logic" (or lack of logic) caused the riots. |

Message | "In what way did DSP cause the riots? There had been SLF rally in the area HOURS prior, the rioters were mostly ex-cons looking to loot nearby stores. It's another case legitimate activism being abused by *ahem* selfish assholes, for lack of better words." |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
