Message | Mr. Speaker While the party is currently doesn't believe it should involve itself within the institution of marriage or civil unions, we are not opposed to enshrining its protection in law if the honourable members of the ZFP are in support. Date | 00:59:17, May 10, 2015 CET | From | Zardio Federisma Partio | To | Debating the Inclusive Marriage Act |
Message | Mr Speaker, Marriage is a deeply held social institution that in order to be accepted must be defined by the people. As such we wish to see this policy devolved to local and state governments so the people can define it to suit their social nature. We will vote no unless the option for devolution is presented. Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
