Bill: Pro Business Act of 3863

Details

Submitted by[?]: Saridani Liberal Front

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3865

Description[?]:

Mr Spreker,

The Current Corporate tax rate is far too high, it halts the economical progress of Saridan and will have a negative impact on every Saridani's life in the long term if it remains unchanged. We would like to start by cutting the tax to 17% which seems like a reasonable rate for now.

Secondly, our party would like to encourage new businesses by tax reliefs. We propose that all new businesses that employ at least 15 people should be exempt from corporate tax during their first year in business.

Thirdly, we wish to create the Business Aid Department under the Ministry of Finance. Its purpose would be to hand subsidies to new, promising businesses and help young people become employers. Additionally, it would be responsible for pro-business advertisment campaigns.

Daan Willemsen
Minister of Finance of Saridan

MessageMr Spreker,

We support economic growth encouraged in this bill but we also support fair agenda. A deficit in our books will negatively affect Saridani more than the gain produced from this bill.

MessageMr Spreker,

Our party has carefully calculated the economic impact the corporate tax cut might pose on the budget of our country. We should have mentioned that before. The Saridani Liberal Front has created a bill that is meant to both help the government keep the economic surplus(it entirely covers the expense) and reduce tax inequality between various brackets(LINK:http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=439867).

We sincerely hope that the Saridan Tommorow Party and other parties support this bill and help Saridan in achieving higher economic growth.

We would like to see the tax percentage drop. However, the plans that the Liberals are trying to introduce will introduce a deficit. That is not what we want. We would like to see the percentage drop to 15. We feel that by doing this we will achieve economic progress while not running a deficit.

Oscar Vernall
Chairman of the saridani national front.

MessageOOC: I mentioned that there won't be a deficit if we introduce both this and the tax reform in the previous post. Moreover, there will be a much bigger surplus and the growth rate will soar into the sky.
