Mr Speaker,

The use of animals in medical or commercial experiments is barbaric. Animals have feelings too! What we sacrifice in the name of progress, we will instead gain through the brutalization of our society.

MessageWhile we support article one, article two is far too broad and problematic.

Some animal research is beneficial, for instance, how can we determine what type of food our pets prefer without conducting research on them?

Some of the problematic practices that this bill addresses in article one would prevent the abuse in the categories of activity covered in article two.

MessageMr Speaker,

We would be happy to introduce article 1 in a separate bill, then.

As for non-violent animal experiments, that's an entirely other matter.
