Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Description[?]:
The child benefit is subsidized by the people who have less or no children. Parents need to pay for their own children. They need to properly plan for their own families. That is not the government's responsibility. Adults with mental of physical disabilities will receive reasonable support by the government to live off of. We will provide needed help for people and try to find proper jobs for people with these issues. The government will not pay people to sit at home and do nothing productive. The Minister of Heath and Social Services will be responsible for stewardship of this program. Mordusians will be required to save for retirement in the Mordusian Security Fund. This fund will provide a minimum lifestyle for elderly Mordusians. |

Message | We oppose. And we ask how the Conquest Party desires to promote population growth in another Bill, but then wishes to take away the child benefit. That seems counter-productive. |

Message | To the ARP we will explain. We support a productive Mordusian society. We don't want over population but we believe Mordusia has plenty of land an resources for population expansion if properly managed. By removing the child benefit we are not discouraging people from having children. We are discouraging people from having children for a financial benefit. We encorage people to financially prepare for having children, not to rely on the government. |
