| Message | Herr Speaker, While we agree that potentially owning weapons can be an issue, including crime, it is a token of national defense that we must understand. In the event of an invasion the Dorvish Armed Forces has the ability to carry out a national mobilization plan of former Dorvish military servicemen and women in what is known as the Landsturm, these are able bodied men and women who are to take up defense against invaders at the request of the Dorvish state and Armed Forces. Previously before it would be taken upon the Dorvish Armed Forces to supply them, of course this new law would permit them to ensure that they could supply themselves and free up potentially more weapons for ourselves.
