Message | Mr. Speaker, Electric power provided the base from which the modern world, its culture and its standards of living, has grown. To put a price tag on such a basic and necessary commodity would surely be detrimental to the poorest among us. Would not maintaining even a minority of public power stations both allow a healthy market to develop and the impoverished to healthily do the same.
