Bill: Call for early elections, August 3893

Details

Submitted by[?]: Choice

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: April 3894

Description[?]:

We, the Choice, call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus. To ensure democracy sooner.

(OOC: Currently the elections for me and quite a few other players happen at 3am in the morning, for obvious reasons this is quite annoying and literally the worst time to have it. So I'd quite like to call an early election so the election happens before then.)

MessageMr Speaker,

We will vote for this bill considering the growing demand through petitions and due to the fact the election would be due soon anyway.

(OOC: Plus it's three in the morning for me too)

Random fact: "Doxxing", or the publishing of personally identifiable information about another player without permission, is forbidden.

Random quote: "John Burroughs has stated that experimental study of animals in captivity is absolutely useless. Their character, their habits, their appetites undergo a complete transformation when torn from their soil in field and forest. With human nature caged in a narrow space, whipped daily into submission, how can we speak of its potentialities?" - Emma Goldman
