Bill: Legalisation of Paramilitaries Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Darnussia
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3905
Description[?]:
The Communist Party's uniformed arm, the Red Volunteers, are being continually harassed despite being unarmed members of the party who are there simply to protect Communist meetings that have in the past come under attack from fascists and government goons. The passing of this bill will allow the Volunteers to go about their duties in peace and prevent unfair judicial challenges to their already legal activities. All rumours regarding the engagement in criminal actions by the Red Volunteers are false, and the Communist Party will continue to defend their loyal members regardless of how 'unfashionable' it may seem among the new socially liberal Darnussian elite. |
