MessageMadam Speaker,

Our government's equitable tax proposal is projected to bring in more than 44.1 billion ALD in increased revenues. We as a government wish to redistribute wealth to the people in our society, especially when individuals are at their most vulnerable. As can be seen in our new budget, our budget is fundamentally about the people. We make across-the-board increases that amount to 43.5 billion in additional expenditure for the government, especially in key sectors such as our infrastructure and our scientific and research development programs to benefit our standard of living.

Most importantly, key to our budget proposal is the increases in both education and health and social services, which form the bulk of expenditure increases. Our government wishes to focus on improving the quality and standard of our education system, as a social leveller in Alduria, while caring for citizens when they are sick, infirm and at their most financially vulnerable. These improvements in expenditure are more than paid for with the equitable tax system we create, and they go a long way to make the lives of Aldurians better everyday. We urge the Conservatives to stand by the people of Alduria and support this budget proposal.

All we want, Madam Speaker, is to nurture dreams and save lives.

MessageMadam Speaker,

Our group believes the global budget presented by FLS to be nearly fair. Increase of budgets for Environment, Education, Infrastructure and Science are all great moves.
We fully recognise the necessity to further help the more needing of our citizens.

We nevertheless regret FLS lake of regards for trade and industry subsidies. Only with a strong economy will we be able to support a welfare state. Industry budget is dramatically low and threatens the whole future of the country.

We therefore propose the gouvernement to increase the trade and industry budget to 5b ALD and reduce of the same amount the social budget to the amount of 56b ALD.

Only on this condition will we vote this budget

MessageMadam Speaker,

We thank the Centre Party for affirming our increases in Education and Healthcare especially, and we would like to defend our present budget as it stands. We understand the Centre Party's concern for our nation's economic future, but we would like to argue that the tax increases in our previous budget only yielded about 44 billion ALD in increased revenues, and they were already significant tax increases in our nation. Originally, all citizens only paid a 15% flat tax rate, and now top earners will pay more than 40% in taxes. Even with such an increase, we raised 44 billion ALD, and we want to maximise that amount of money.

We believe that Education, Healthcare and our Social Services are in the most dire need of a spending increase at the moment. Rather than pumping that money into our economy, our priority at the moment ought to be increasing the capacity of our hospitals, catering to more patients and getting more children in school and subsidising their university tuition fees. Right now, managing our education and healthcare systems to the best of our abilities should be the focus on this budget. We would like to support our industry and economy, but not at the expense of crucial funding to these sectors. If the Centre Party is unable to support the budget without those changes, we completely understand if they vote against this present budget.

We invite the Centre Party to also give their thoughts on this matter.
