Bill: Regency Act of 3915
Details
Submitted by[?]: Royal People's Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 3916
Description[?]:
Thoouts Aksiomatikos, I regret to inform you that due to the irreversibly declining mental state of Sakho Neb Refmenkhat Saksoure II, he is no longer fit to carry out his duties as Lord of Cobura. The Council of Viziers has counselled with the senior ranking members of the House of Saksoure, and we have concluded that a regency council must be appointed to ensure the stability of Cobura. Thus, with the passage of this act; 1. Prince Kharakhte and Lady Khethiwe will form the regency council of Cobura until Refmenkhat Saksoure II has passed into the next life, and 2. Kharakhte will be crowned sole Lord of Cobura upon Refmenkhat’s death, with the regency council abolished. As His Exalted Majesty is in no state to assent to the bill, I, as the senior advisor to the sovereign by virtue of the office of Grand Vizier, will be giving assent. I assure the Assembly that this action has wide support throughout the nobility. This is not a decision that is being made lightly. Long live the Lord, and long live Cobura. Thank you.
