MessageMadam Speaker,

We hereby propose the creation of a civilian national service (fire dep, NGO assitance and so on), aiming to provide our young people the opportunity to mix between different social class and learn to help their fellow Aldurian. We deeply believe a civil service will increase the moral level of our country and put a halt to the lack of civility encountered in some of our young people.

We also propose the suppression of mandatory provision for civil defense, military threats against Alduria being far away from us.

MessageMadam Speaker,

While we believe that civil defense regulations are unnecessary and expensive, we believe that national service is essentially a form of conscript labour. We do not wish to impose this burden upon our students if they do not wish to enter such professions or work. Our young people should be free to pursue their own individual passions and dreams.
