Bill: Formation of the Capitalist Coalition (Part 1)
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Brotherhood for Prosperity
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 3926
Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, I would love to form a coalition between the laissez-faire leaning parties, however only the largest party may propose a coalition. Therefore, we need to reverse this anti-democratic policy, and allow all parties to propose cabinets. In the meantime I strongly encourage the 4 laissiez-faire leaning parties to not support any cabinet proposal made by the REWP. The Four partys I seek to include in the Capitalist Coalition are as follows. Rutanian Conservative Party Independence Party of Delvar National Brotherhood for Prosperity Libertarian Party Richard Hall NBP Chairman |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The constitutional right and responsibility to propose a cabinet to the legislature.
Old value:: Only the largest party can propose a cabinet.
Current: Each party can propose a cabinet coalition.
Proposed: Each party can propose a cabinet coalition.

Message | Mr Speaker, The Progressives would like to stress on the importance of the largest-party-only policy. Only through limiting cabinet coalitions that political stability can be established, and not every party just shouting out and putting 8 cabinet proposals. |

Message | Mr Speaker, We likewise believe that this piece of legislation should be changed; not just because we are not the largest party but because there is too many parties for the current practise to remain feasible. With the current method we only have a limited number of options for a potential cabinet whereas allowing any party to propose a cabinet gives us the freedom of choice and free will to choose among ourselves the government that will work most effectively together rather than being one of a major party loosely allying with other parties to create an unstable government. |
