MessageBy recognizing only certain religions, the government invalidates people's freedom to choose their own belief system. I thought your much touted morality emphasized that the government has no right to interfere in people's personal lives.

MessageI actually agree with some of Ayn Rand's believes. I enjoyed Atlas Shrugged. Personally, I agree that taxes rob from me. But I also realize that in this current society, without taxes I wouldn't have access to roads, public hospitals, public schools, libraries and so forth....

MessageI just hate Ayn Rand. I've studied her life fairly extensively, and have seen a few films and documentaries on her. She was a bad person, and her philosophy was entirely self serving to her. In the end she banished from her organisation (collective) any of them who did not utterly subjegate themselves to her whims.

Her followers tend to be intensely foolish philosophically (and easilly taken in), but are no where near as selfish and wicked as that nasty old witch.
