Message | Mr. Speaker, We cannot just keep raising taxes everytime there is a deficit which happens in every government tin the whole terra, finding other ways of filling in the gaps is what is needed. This only hurts the people further, I do not accept blame for where there is not new to blame. This is the oppositions attempt to so call"better" things, raise taxes. Raise food prices etc. Danny Habowitz Finance Minister |

Message | Mr. Speaker, NWL supports a raise of taxes on luxury goods, but not on essential goods. Those taxes should be kept as low as possible. Maureen Dewilde NWL treasurer |

Message | To the LPA, we support article 2 of this bill, and had article 1 proposal was 20 or close to it we would support it as well, we just believe a 35% food tax is a bit to much George Lodamun PLUP President |
Date | 03:13:00, November 23, 2015 CET | From | Lodamese Social Democratic Party (LSDP) | To | Debating the Sales Tax Reform |
Message | Likewise, the LSDP support article 2, but cannot in good conscience support such a large increase in the tax on essential goods. As such, we must oppose this bill Sir Mikhail Van Aller LSDP Parliamentary leader |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
