Message | Morality is relative, and is thus not a proper argument, in the support of this or any other cause. |

Message | Morality is absolute, and denying medical care to others is wicked. What Would Jesus Do? He'd feed and heal the needy, thats what. |

Message | Jesus would heal everyone. Just like our current system allows. |

Message | Morality is objective and absolut within a certain context. Politics rests on ethics(morality) for its justification, and therefore is required for every decision made in a man's life if his goal is to live and be happy. |

Message | You keep touting morality as an excuse not to address what anyone else says. I sense a broken record. |

Message | No. I tout morality because "what everyone else says" is based on an evil "morality" that is destroying the world, eating away at it like a cancer-- altruism. Altruism is the most evil doctrine in the history of the world. Sacrificing oneself to other's for the sake of sacrifice. Sacrifice as virtue. Sacrifice to the "good of the people" with the people being "defined" as not you but everyone else. If it is moral to give your values to others but not to accept, then why is it moral for them to accept from you? Why should you holler "greed" at the man with a dollar more than you while proclaiming that it is rightfully your's because you "need" it; while you are the sacrificial animal to the man with a dollar less than you because of his need? I reject this evil inverted "morality" because all it can lead to is mass death. Check history. I am an egoist. My morality is rational selfishness with the redundant rational part thrown in because most people don't understand the real definition of selfishness. Selfishness properly defined is doing what is in one's rational self-interest. This means doing as one chooses to benefit oneself with no loss to anyone else-- no sacrifices. It means holding mans life qua Man as the standard of morality and ones own life as it's purpose. It means every man is an end in himself and NOT the means to the ends of others. Political ideas are based on a persons ethics. Objectivist ethics are verified via epistemology-- the science of validating knowledge. Epistemology rests on metaphysics. For an Objectivist metaphysics are simple. It is Existence exists and only existence exists. A is A. It's corrolary is that you know it, ie, you are concious-- of reality. A conciousness with nothing to be concious of is a contradiction in terms. This is one of the primary reasons a deity can NOT exist. Enough for now, just know that I don't share the same evil morality as "most people" and that I do not want their morality destroying MY life. |
