Bill: Forign Investment Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Al'Badaran Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2174

Description[?]:

We are happy to see that there are some people who have faith in Al'Badara's improving economy, unfortunately, the laws of this country prevent forign investment from benefitting the country.

We propose a change to that, urging all parties to recognise not only the economic benefits but also the diplomatic ones as prosperous relationship builds between Al'Badara and these nations.

We agree, however, that if we allow too much we will be giving those investors some undue influence over the nation, therefore, we suggest that a limit be placed.

MessageThis has always been UPU policy, since we created the Al'Badara Foreign Investment Review Agency. As long as government approval is required for any foreign investment, then we must support. We would like the conditions of investment to give priority to Majatran investors, however.

MessageAllowing other nations to "invest" just makes us lose control of our own economy, thus we become a neocolony
