| Message | Mr Speaker The All Progressive party would like to implore the senate of Gaduridos to rethink there stance on Cabinet selection. The current "coalition government" hasn't done anything this term, instead of leaving some of us (OOC: us who are always and/or frequently online) the power to form our own government which you also are invited to join and contribute whenever possible. That way we can all be included. 1. Terms by APP: -The Liberal Socialists: though always active, your team doesn't deserve power you'll receive a single ministry, because also you've tried too hard to always retain your position in cabinet but don't want to include others in the name of ideology difference. -The Socialist Democracy: though is ruling government, your team deserves three positions in cabinet including head of government as you'll pass instructions. | Message | Mr Speaker A rainbow coalition of every party in the Senate is ineffective. Also, the entire POINT of a cabinet and coalition is to have parties with ideologies similar, a coalition with a libertarian socialist party and a fascist conservative party for example, would never, ever work out. A coalition agreement between us, the Social Democrats and your party would have been reached if you apologised to the Prime Senator for homophobic comments and taken at least a neutral stance on homosexuality, agreeing not to ban it. Jeremy Perez Leader of the LSP (OOC: It's agreed the current government haven't done much lately, the Social Democrats and Conservative Union hasn't seemed to do much. Do note I haven't been as active lately due to going back to college. As for what the government will be noted down as, OOC wise this will likely be noted simply as a Social Democratic Minority government, with a confidence and supply relationship with our party. A coalition agreement whether it be on the right or the left should have been reached by now really, it's just been particularly difficult to create this time due to the alignment of parties. The NEXT election is due soon and the basics of this election haven't even been reached yet, I think we should just cut out losses, say this government was a Social Democrat minority government and call for a new election to try and sort out the cabinet's mess. As for "attacks" on other parties, such as our party blasting the APP for their anti-gay rights stances, in-game our party would be unable to back a coalition with a party of those policies, as our party is very socially liberal) |
