Message | Mr Speaker, This is legalised murder, for the nobility. Why should we let the rich kill each other for petty squabbles. Any party for legalising murder will not have our support. Cassandra Thessalonica Stevenson Vice-Chancellor of Luthori Leader of 3Right |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We again point to the rights stipulated by the Nobility Laws. Duels are only between nobles under conditions that are between two consenting individuals. If they die, they do so in the name of their honor. No noble should be denied this choice to defend his honor. I do believe the gentleman forget the difference between murder and dueling. One is a regulated contest between two consenting nobles, while the other is a cowardly and horrendous act committed by scum. The practice existed for centuries for our ancestors and should be allowed once again, under the watchful eye of the Imperial Court and fellow nobility. If ever such a duel were deemed to be have been done misappropriate, then the government and law enforcement agencies would surely bring to justice and prosecute the noble responsible for such an act. However, under a regulated system in an empire whose national sport is fencing, a game of two dueling sportsman, the nobility not have the right and privilege to continue their traditions. I yield. |
