Centrist Alliance - Blue Crown[?]
This page contains information about the Centrist Alliance - Blue Crown.
|Reformed in 4224, we believe that through over regulation and the subsidisation of multinational corporations the Luthori economy has been broken. Currently we are spending more on bailing out large corporations than we are on supporting locally run, well paying, small businesses.|
The name 'Centrist Alliance - Blue Crown' comes from the parties wide range of politicians and members, from those of mainly centre and centre left, as well as a minority of centre right members. 'Blue Crown' comes from the parties past - they worked together with the 'Red Crown', a communist party, to protect the monarchy during the early 4100s.
Only through the deregulation of the market, minimal taxes, the banning of monopolies, and negotiating free trade agreements can Luthori begin the transition towards higher wages, lower unemployment and a higher quality of life.
Excluding economic reform, we also believe in protecting our monarch, relaxing laws on drugs, abortion and euthanasia, maintaining a well funded military force & placing restrictions on lobbying.

|Random fact: By default, the Head of Government is the ultimate figure of authority in the Cabinet/government. By convention, Heads of Government are expected to consult with and gain the approval of Cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) for their actions, but they remain ultimately responsible for what the government does. Cabinet Ministers who disagree seriously enough with the Head of Government would usually be expected to resign, although of course their respective parties can manoeuvre to replace the Head of Government by proposing a new Cabinet bill or triggering an early election. The Head of Government may dismiss a Cabinet Minister and replace them with a chosen temporary replacement. In practical terms it may not always be possible to arrange this through the game mechanics, but the dismissal and replacement will be recognised under the Game Rules if the player controlling the Head of Government simply puts forward a bill, announcing the change.|
