Bill: Call for early elections, April 3994

Details

Submitted by[?]: Centrist Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: December 3994

Description[?]:

OOC: the Moderates and 3Right have both left recently. I think we should hold another quick election to welcome our new player to Luthori.

MessageTrue but I won't agree unless he had a legitimate reason for inactivating. Otherwise 3rignt could return and then what? We call early elections then as well. Or if Choice came back , etc.

MessageOOC: my impression was that the mods inactivated him incorrectly, therefore this is a different circumstances than 3Right or Choice coming back.

MessageOOC: I would be very thankful to those that choose to change their vote because of this. But it was fixed very quickly i was just unlucky that the election was straight after i was inactivated.

MessageOOC: The game's turnout rate for the vote will be extremely low this close the last election. At a minimum give it two or three years. Turnout can have a significant impact. One of the few aspects this game has functioning completely.
