Bill: Freedom to Adopt Act of 3998
Details
Submitted by[?]: Free Enterprise and Industry Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 4000
Description[?]:
Konrad Warner: Every person in Beluzia who is a capable adult should have the freedom to adopt. What do we say to the single mothers and fathers out there working hard to raise children on their own, when we do not allow single parents to adopt? What do we say to the thousands of children, desperate for a new home, when we force potential adopters to go through intensive, expensive, and burdensome processes to give a child a new life? The time has come to shutter our orphanages, not because of financial constraints, but because there are no more orphans. |
